From the trip to Edinburgh there were some very beautiful and inspiration things to see everywhere we went. The architecture was amazing with its fine intricacy, it was just as amazing inside too. There is definitely some shapes and colour schemes I could take from this. One gallery we visited was the Modern Art Gallery, there were a few pieces that really stood out to me there, such as Paoloozi's studio because I love how so much creativeness is happening and there's always something new to find everytime you look. I also liked the Vulcan sculpture due to how the metal they used reacts with the light, it was great seeing it up close.
We also visited The National Museum of Scotland, my favourite parts of the museum were the 'Life Begins' room because I really liked the earthy tones but then the contrasting of bright tones from other pieces and just the whole universe close up and dissected.
My favourite gallery we visited was the Dovecote gallery, because it was textile based, showing accessories I'd looked at in my previous project, it was amazing to now see them in real life and up close. I was very intrigued that we could watch them working on the looms. The whole place and atmosphere was very inspirational and a great experience.
